On the 9th October from 2PM until 5PM at Bishop Newlands Farm, off Hampton Lane, Catherine de Barnes B91 2RY there is an Apple Day.

Bishop Newlands Farm provides support for adults with severe learning difficulties in preparing for employment.

The Apple Day will be a “Fun Day”  for all ages:

Bring along your unidentified apple, and their expert will help to identify them, the apple press will be running,( they use this to make apple juice and cider), tours of the farm (various animals to see), activities for children.

Their cafe will be open serving drinks and cakes.

Home produced items for sale – apple juice and jams.

It should be a very enjoyable afternoon out for families of all ages (friends from outside church are also very welcome). It’s also an opportunity for the Farm to bring their activities to a wider “audience”. Very much a two way interaction.
