Quarterly Charity – Tearfund

Our quarterly charity for the last quarter of 2016 is Tearfund.

Tearfund was founded in 1960. It is an organisation composed of Christians committed to following Jesus where the need is greatest. They declare, ‘God has called us to serve those living in poverty, regardless of race, gender, nationality or religious belief. We know the gospel has the power to transform lives and heal communities, we see this truth in our work every day. God isn’t giving up on the poor, neither are we.’

Today, Tearfund is among the UK’s top ten emergency relief agencies, with a respected reputation built on good practice and years of experience helping people in some of the world’s most challenging places.
